Women’s Empowerment through Local Livelihood (WELL project), was initiated as a Tsunami rehabilitation project In Tamil Nadu, India. The project's main goals are to create alternative livelihood for women from the villages around Auroville and to promote handmade products made of waste and enviromentally friendly materials. WELL's recycled newspapers products range, varies from different kinds of baskets, bowls, plates for home and office to jewelry accessories.
